Adventure awaits this summer at your local library! There are 2 ways to take part.
Option 1:
Visit your local library to complete the weekly challenge posted on the Library Explorers Club poster. Once done scan the QR code, enter your details and go in the draw to win a $100 book voucher. The more challenges you complete, the more entries you get!
Don’t forget to grab a boarding pass! Each time you complete a challenge take it to the staff who will add an official mark of completion on your pass.
Option 2:
Can’t visit the library each week? Easy peasy. Just scroll down to find the online weekly challenge, complete it, enter your details in the online form and you will go in the draw to win a $100 book voucher. Same rules apply…the more challenges you do the more entries you get!
On your next visit to your local branch don’t forget to grab a boarding pass. Let the library staff know which challenges you have completed and they will officially mark your pass.
Week 7 Challenge
Discover your Explorer name and write it down.
Australia is a pretty big place and so is the world, with plenty left to explore! Where will your adventures take you and what might you discover?
Perhaps you’ve heard of Burke and Wills, expedition leaders and the first Europeans to successfully cross the Australian continent from south to north? Or Sir Douglas Mawson, one of Australia’s greatest Antarctic explorers. Aviatrix Nancy Bird Walton was a pioneer of our skies, touring Australia and giving joyrides to country people who had never seen a plane before. Imagine that!

Library Explorer Club Guidelines
Participants can complete challenges in the library or online if they cannot visit a library on a weekly basis. Only one (1) entry per weekly challenge will be accepted. Ages 2-16 years.
Weekly challenge will be available in the library every Monday morning at 9am.
Weekly challenge will be available on the Libraries website every Monday morning by 10am.
All challenge entries must be submitted by 5pm Friday 31 January 2025.
Winners of the $100 book vouchers will be announced Tuesday 4 February 2025. Winners will be notified and names appear on the Library Explorers Club web page.
