Baringa Book Locker

Welcome to the Baringa Book Locker, Sunshine Coast Libraries’ first express library located inside the Baringa Community Centre. Whether you are local to the area or just passing through, the Baringa Book Locker is open to anyone with full Sunshine Coast Library membership.

The Baringa Book Locker is an express library where you can use your library membership card to borrow from a selection of up to 160 books. The locker includes:

• Adult fiction and non-fiction
• Young adult fiction 
• Junior fiction and non-fiction 
• Toddler board books and picture books

Use of the Book Locker is free and available to anyone with a full library membership. To become a member, visit one of our eight library locations and speak to a staff member.

Access

There is level access from the car park to the book locker. Disabled toilet facilities are also available on site.

Travelling to the book locker

Car

Located across the road from Baringa IGA, turn off Baringa Drive or Aura Boulevard into Edwards Terrace. Parking available.

Bus

Sunbus provides frequent services throughout the Caloundra coastal area and the Sunshine Coast. For timetable information contact Translink on 131 230 or visit the Translink website. 

Train

Queensland Rail operates a regular service to and from Brisbane, which stops at the hinterland townships of Beerburrum, Glass House Mountains, Beerwah, Landsborough and Mooloolah.
